paper we deal with the processing algorithm for the problems of gas detection based on the Bayesian criterion of the minimum average risk. We also use the Bayesian criterion of the minimum average risk for algorithm of selection of the informative spectral sections. We study only a gas mixture one component of which is to be analyzed. The other gases in this mixture are considered to be background.
