The Paper explores a digital method for processing the signals from measurement of ore pulp density by means of gamma rays and proposes a method for determining radiant intensity. Using the method, the measuring time can be accumulated with memory space and then measuring errors is decreased or the needed intensity of a radiation source is reduced by increasing the data memory space in same precision requirements. The method is realized by using a single chip microcomputer with simple interface circuit, program is designed according to the algorithm introduced in this article.
