Nowadays, great attention is paying in Intermediate Temperature Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells (IT-PEMFCs) because, at these conditions water management becomes simpler and reaction rates at both cathode and anode increases when comparing with Low Temperature LT-PEMFCs (below 80°C) [1]. Traditionally, Nafion~R based polymer membranes have been used as electrolyte because of high proton conductivity and chemical stability [2]. However, this kind of membranes showed a strong decrease of proton conductivity at low relative humidity and high temperature because of water evaporation at ambient pressure [2].
