A Curvilinear Avatar with Avatar Collision Detection Scheme in Collaborative Virtual Environments

摘要

In a Collaborative Virtual Environment, a collision management scheme must be present to prevent moving avatars from colliding with other moving avatars and with obstacles in their path. This paper presents a novel Curvilinear Avatar with Avatar Collision Detection Scheme (CAACD) that provides a collision-free environment for avatars going in a linear as well as curvilinear motion.
