THE VISUALIZATION AND CALCULATION OF THE AIR TEMPERATURE IN ENCLOSURES WITH HOT AND COLD SURFACES ON THE SAME WALL

The heat transfer by natural convection is an important factor influencing the temperature distribution of the air in air conditioning rooms, moreover the effects become much more important in the. rooms with such a wall of which the upper part is cold and the lower part is hot. In order to investigate the temperature field in the above room, the optical method was used to make visible the air temperature field on which the refractive index depends.
