THE INTRODUCTION OF THE TELETEX SERVICE-A HARMONIZED ACTION BETWEEN MANUFACIORS, USERS AND THE BUNDESPOST

The presentation begins with a comprehensive information about the development of the Teletex service in the F. R. Of Germany from 1976 to today. The establishment of the working party "Text" was an important fact within national and international standardization of the Teletex service. The Bundespost's introduction strategy of the Teletex service is presented in its three phases. Parallel to these activities the Bundespost offers possibilities for information exchange about experience between Teletex users. A questionnaire to the first Teletex subscribers and the list of approval Teletex terminals will close the presentation.
