A Hybrid Two-Segment Microring Structure Combining Optical Pre-Emphasis and Modulation for High Bandwidth Electronic-Optical Interconnect

We propose a hybrid two-segment microring structure combining optical pre-emphasis and modulation with 4.3dB pre-emphasis and 30pm/V modulation efficiency. Simulation results show up to 39% increase of eye height at the data rate of 80Gb/s. © 2020 The Author(s)
