The concept of electricity generation from solar energy has blessed mankind since the source is interminable and clean. Employing more solar parks can help Bangladesh mitigating its current energy crisis since solar radiation and the sunshine hour are quite apt. In spite of all these pros, dusty humid weather can be considered as cons too. Dust is considered as an unalterable factor that affects the efficiency of photovoltaic solar panels. The purpose of this scrutiny is to measure the efficiency reduction of PV panels due to natural dust accumulation for Dhaka, Bangladesh. Four PV panels of 250W were selected from PV array, two of them are monocrystalline, and rest two are polycrystalline. One PV module from both monocrystalline and polycrystalline sets were cleaned manually every day. And the other two PV modules were left uncleaned for 125 days. The study indicates the downfall of performance ratio for both uncleaned polycrystalline and monocrystalline modules compared to the cleaned modules during winter.
