PURPOSE: A study effect improvement device for ubiquitous-learning based on a study emotion index generated from situational information and a body emotion index is provided to recommend proper contents to a user based on the study emotion index received from a middleware device. CONSTITUTION: A student emotion acknowledgement module(210) generates a body emotion index related to a brain state of a user from a body signal of the user. A learning environment acknowledgement module(230) generates state information for a surrounding situation of the user. A standard index database(290) stores standard index data showing a relationship between the body emotion index and a study emotion index obtained from an performed experiment with a plurality of users. A middleware module(250) generates the study emotion index based on the body emotion index, the study emotion index, and situation information.
