In this paper, a noncontact multifunctional sensing technique isinvestigated for the measurement of low concentration of electrolyte inaqueous solution with higher accuracy. With the experimental data of apractically designed multi-functional sensor, the improvement isstatistically analyzed. Primary estimations of the concentration areobtained by mathematically modeling the sensor responses in itsinductive and capacitive sensing functions. The final estimation of theconcentration combining the two mean of the primarily estimatedconcentration with two optimum weights on each mean is proposed. Withthe experimental data of K2SO4 solution, aconsiderable improvement in the variance of the finally estimatedconcentration was obtained
