Parameters and results of SE-measurements performed in mode-stirredchambers

Regarding shielding effectiveness measurements in mode-stirredchambers there are a lot of unknown variables concerning the operationmode of the chamber and the evaluation of measurement data. This paperis aimed at determining the best operation mode-e.g. mode-tuned ormode-stirred mode-and the minimum number of measurement samples. Theresults obtained from shielding effectiveness measurements are comparedto measurements carried out in an anechoic chamber. It is shown thatboth measurement environments are comparable for the average shieldingeffectiveness of an equipment under test (EUT)
