Discrimination between Multiple Strokes and Multi-point Flash by Observation of VHF Pulse Radiation

摘要

For establishing the detection method of lightning flashes with a large amount of charge quantity, that have high possibility to damage electric power equipment, it is needed to deal with multiple strokes and multi-point flash. In this paper, we describe the occurrence frequency of these two phenomena by evaluating from the difference of VHF pulse radiation characteristics.
