A STD bus computer based smart torch movement controller for flamecutting machines

摘要

This paper has developed a smart, economic torch movementcontroller for flame cutting machines by using the highly modular STD(Standard) bus industrial computer. The controller possesses thesmartness of manual cutting and the steadiness and precision of CNC(computer numerical control) cutting. So it enables the operator toresponse quickly to all the unexpected situations and to shorten theauxiliary time as much as possible during cutting. This controller isespecially suitable for use in most Chinese small state-run works orrural and town enterprises
