Most digital camera uses the color filter array toreduce the cost and size. When we use the color filterarray, however, we need to interpolate the missingpixels. In this paper, we propose an enhanceddirectionally weighted demosaicing algorithm for thecolor filtered images of the single-sensor digitalcamera. The noise can be mixed to the captured imageand the min, max, and min-max filters are effective inremoving those noises. We use the min, max and minmaxfilters to reduce the effects of the neighboringnoise samples. Compared to the conventionalalgorithms, the proposed algorithm achieves bettervisual quality without aliasing artifacts.
