According to an embodiment of the present invention, a directional weighted interpolation method of an image interpolation device includes: a step of interpolating a green plane from which a center pixel is omitted; a step of interpolating the green plane in the east, west, south, and north directions by using an anti-aliasing finite impulse response (FIR) filter; a step of applying the interpolated green plane to gradient inverse weighted filtering (GIWF); and a step of interpolating the missed green and blue elements by using the interpolated green plane.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
