The present invention relates to a multi-directional weighted interpolation method for demosaicing a Bayer pattern Color Filter Array (CFA). The multi-directional weighted interpolation method for demosaicing a Bayer pattern CFA according to the present invention comprises the steps of: (a) interpolating omitted green elements in 8 directions including vertical, horizontal, and diagonal directions by using a green interpolation unit; (b) interpolating red and blue elements based on relationships in an interpolated green plane by using red and blue interpolation units; and (c) improving the green plane, a red plane, and a blue plane by using differences between color values and a post-processing unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
