On several important problems of thermogravimetric point slope(TPS) method

The author discusses several problems relative to TPS, a rapidthermal endurance test method for insulating materials. It is notedthat, although the test temperature of thermogravimetry is much higherthan that of the conventional aging method, it matters little to thereliability of TPS. The accuracy of TPS is shown to be good. It is alsoshown that the possible nonlinearity of life line is unimportant for TPS
