Effects of additions on the dielectric properties of(SrPb)(CaMg)TiO₃-Bi₂O₃:3TiO₂ceramics

The authors describe the new system (Sr_7/9Pb_2/9) (Ca_1/5Mg_4/5)TiO₃-Bi₂O₃:3TiO₂, focusingon the change in its dielectric properties with Bi₂O₃:3TiO₂ additions. The dielectric constants increaserapidly with Bi₂O₃:3TiO₂ addition up to4 mol.% and decrease at contents beyond that concentration. Thedielectric constants thus depend on the Bi₂O₃:3TiO₂ content. The tan δ rapidly increases as a function oftemperature below 20° C. Temperature coefficients of capacitancerapidly decrease as the Bi₂O₃:3TiO₂content is increased, but the specimens above 6 mol.% are nearlyindependent with respect to the content. Both ΔC% and tan δ%as a function of frequency are stable up to 100 kHz for all thespecimens with above Bi₂O₃:3TiO₂ above4[mol.%]
