摘要

The effect of mist on partial discharge in nonuniform fields wasevaluated experimentally, and it was found that the mist formationincreases the negative partial discharge inception voltages as well asthe positive partial discharges. The partial discharge inceptionvoltages increased as the temperature was reduced to the boiling point.This is an effect of mist formation. Mist with an ionic nucleus wasformed after the discharge condition was established. The ionic mist iseasily broken up by the discharge and does not group up
