Experimental results are presented on the effect of water mistformation in vapor-mist dielectrics on partial discharge. Dimer andtrimer mist formed normally are shown to have the effect of dischargesuppression. Electrons emitted by partial discharge become a nuclei ofthe mist, and it is this mist, which has emitted electrons as nuclei,that has the effect of discharge suppression
