The NRC Sampling System for Josephson Standards

This paper describes the hardware and measurement capabilities of the sampling system developed at the National Research Council Canada (NRC) for Josephson standards. It allows calibration of ac sources (or calibrators) and digital voltmeters against either a programmable Josephson voltage standard (PJVS) or a Josephson arbitrary waveform synthesizer (JAWS). Measurement capabilities are discussed, future work is proposed and recent measurement results using JAWS are presented.
