摘要

The paper considers the problem of analytical synthesis of an observer for evaluating individual immeasurable elements of the state vector of a discrete system. The structure and the method of constructing an observer that solves the problem and has a minimum dimension are proposed. The problem solvability conditions and a step-by-step algorithm for determining the observation matrix and observer coefficients are formulated. The proposed solution of the problem is based on the use of matrix canonization technology and methods for solving linear matrix equations of arbitrary dimension.
