Cam Profile optimization of New Opposed Cam Engine Based on AHP Method*

摘要

The engine is a kind of modern power device and the source of power for various modern vehicles. With reference to the structure and operating characteristics of OPOC and cam engines, a new type of opposed cam engine was designed and its structural characteristics and working principles were analyzed, the cam profile description equation based on a family of sinusoidal curves was established, and the changing law of cam profiles was studied. Select the appropriate optimization elements, and use the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to convert the multiple targets into the single target, an optimized description model of the engine profile was established. Based on the evaluation method of the expert score, each element is assigned the corresponding ranking weight, and the engine performance values under different cam profile conditions are calculated respectively, that laid a theoretical foundation for the optimization of the new type of opposed cam engine.
