Agile methods have gradually been adopted within technology companies in the last decades. Giants of the digital age like Google and Microsoft have shown that these models are a way to develop large, complex, and changing software projects. Hence, understanding and working under this philosophy has become essential in many organizations that demand this competence in professionals immersed in the world of ICT.This paper presents the methodological strategy developed in an undergraduate elective course, whose main objective was the comprehension of the philosophy of Agile methods in engineering students. The configuration and follow-up are described in each of the sessions, remaining faithful to the guidelines of the agile models included in the syllabus. It also presents in detail how an Agile culture was simulated in the classroom and pedagogical activities such as role-play, self-managed workshops, and real classroom project with an external client, among others. Finally, we present the results obtained from the perspective of the students and the conclusions.
