Social enterprises are emerging enterprises that adopt commercial methods to solve social problems. However, previous studies have not studied the impact of employee characteristics on organizational performance. Under the background of China, this paper use 52.social enterprises and 270 employees as samples to verify the relationship between emotional commitment and subjective well-being of employees in social enterprises and social performance of enterprises by using multilevel structural equation model (MSEM). The study found that: life satisfaction and emotional balance, have a significant role in promoting affective commitment, and also have a significant role in promoting social performance of enterprises; affective commitment plays a mediating role between life satisfaction, emotional balance and social performance of enterprises.
