We propose spatially coupled repeat-accumulate codes (SC-RASC) as a new class of repeat-accumulate signal codes (RASC). Monte-Carlo density evolution analysis displays that SC-RASC can achieve about 0.3dB away from the channel capacity of additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channels. Furthermore, finite-length simulation results show that the symbol error rate performance of SC-RASC is 0.2dB superior to that of the conventional RASC with an information length of 6500 signals.
