Optofluidic Platform with Integrated Optical Waveguides and Sample Preparation for Digitized Detection of Nucleic Acid Targets

An architecture of sensitive solid-core and liquid-core optical waveguides are integrated with a pneumatic valve array on a single optofluidic platform to enable specific capture, labeling and detection of single nucleic acid strands using barcode fluorescence reporters.
