This paper reports a first of its kind reduced Graphene Oxide (rGO) based resistive liquid level sensor. The rGo based level sensor was fabricated by screen printing rGO film on Al2O3 substrate and was selectively coated with Parylene-C. The rGO was synthesized using Modified Hummer’s method. Raman spectroscopy was carried out to characterize the rGO film. The surface morphology of the as produced flakes was studied using FE SEM. A linear relationship between the resistance of the rGO film and the change in water level was observed, implying easy detection and calibration. This liquid level sensor, with its easy and cost effective fabrication process has a great potential in the industries where liquid level sensing is mandatory e.g. pharmaceutical industries, space industry etc..
