The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing reduced graphene oxide doped with nitrogen, phosphorus or sulfur by using ionic liquid including positive ions containing nitrogen, phosphorus or sulfur; and to reduced graphene oxide doped with nitrogen, phosphorus or sulfur that is manufactured thereby. The reduced graphene oxide doped with nitrogen, phosphorus or sulfur has reactivity and electrocatalytic characteristics improved by using environment-friendly ionic liquid. The method for manufacturing reduced graphene oxide doped with nitrogen, phosphorus or sulfur comprises the steps of: forming a partially reduced graphene oxide (PrGO) intermediate containing nitrogen, phosphorus or sulfur by mixing a solution including ionic liquid including positive ions containing nitrogen, phosphorus or sulfur, with a solution including graphene oxide; and forming reduced graphene oxide doped with nitrogen, phosphorus or sulfur by annealing the partially reduced graphene oxide intermediate.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
