Soft magnetic films with large spontaneous magnetization and uniaxial in-plane anisotropy have attracted attention to improve planar magnetic devices. Fe-Co based alloys have the largest spontaneous magnetization in the conventional magnetic materials. However, it is difficult to obtain soft magnetism in these alloys because of their large magnetostriction and strong magnetic coupling interaction among ferromagnetic regions such as polycrystalline grains. In this paper, with the intention to weaken the interaction upto adequate intensity for expanding the magnetic coupling volume[1], the Fe-Co based hetero-amorphous films have been investigated.
