摘要

The ability to supply leading power factor load for the standby generator set is very low. While the modern ICT equipment is a typical leading power factor load which results in a large number of leading reactive powers and may lead to the generator set instability or even shut down. This paper analyses the root cause of generating leading reactive power for ICT equipment, explains in detail the generator set capability curve and the input reactive power limit of generator set, and puts forward the strategy and solution of generator instability question.
