This study aims to investigate the problem of finite-time H∞ control for continuous switched nonlinear systems. Firstly, we extend finite-time stability (FTS) and finite-time boundedness (FTB) to switched nonlinear systems. Secondly, in terms of the multiple Lyapunov functions and average dwell time (ADT) approach, some sufficient conditions are obtained to guarantee that the systems are finite-time bounded and satisfy a given H∞ performance. Finally, two examples are given to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the obtained results.
