The task was to develop specialized equipment for the production of finely dispersed powder. For this purpose, it was decided to develop a technology for the spheroidization of metallic powders based on the methods of plasma melting and material processing. The research project includes several fundamental tasks: develop an experimental equipment for trial starts and obtain an initial result for further improvement. Carry out a mathematical modelling of the processes occurring during the operation of the equipment, and determine the physical effect both on the experimental structure itself and on the resulting plasma jet. During the study, mathematical calculations were carried out in Comsol Multiphisics software to determine the influence of the temperature of the plasma jet, gas flow and geometry of the structure on the characteristics of the obtained nanopowder and the calculation of the ideal characteristics for a 3-phase AC supply.
