摘要

In this paper, performance assessment technique is proposed for `Shell' heavy oil fractionator, in which an algorithm for calculation of minimum-variance benchmark is developed without the knowledge of transfer function. Note that the existing techniques can't handle such case because of gain uncertainties in the process. Instead of the knowledge of interact matrix or Markov parameter matrices required in the existing performance assessment techniques, only time delay matrix is demanded in the proposed algorithm for performance assessment of `Shell' heavy oil fractionator.
