摘要

The main objective of the FILONAS project is to define and develop the main building blocks of a generic system which improves the management of the civil security management of interventions an crisis. The system added value resides in both technological and application field. The tracking of both firemen and vehicles provides efficient tools to the command officers, providing at the command centers the exact position on an innovative GIS application on three dimension maps. The added value of the 3D maps is to give a better idea of the environment for a remote command center, and make available an easier firemen location even inside buildings. The security of the firemen is enhanced through this location and monitoring system.
