Kinematic analysis of articulatory movements in polish affricates consonants

摘要

In the paper a movements analysis of a basic articulators is presented. Pronunciation of selected polish affricates consonants has been studied in two ways: electromagnetic articulography (EMA) and high speed video camera. Both methods was compared in the case of lip's tip movement. Solution with a camera can be used for analysis of external articulators instead of onerous EMA. This kind of investigation will be very useful for phoneticians and speech investigators.
