There are many studies on the traffic conditions encountered by self-driving cars on the road, and relevant regulations have been formulated in accordance with the SAE International standard. However, the research on roadside traffic conditions encountered on the roadside has not yet been studied, so we studied the road the feasibility of takeaway service robot uses the sensor velodyne-vlp16 for mapping to build outdoor maps to understand roadside traffic conditions. Use the collected roadside traffic conditions to analyze and design a takeaway service robot walking mode to achieve the roadside navigation and the takeaway service robot reaches the destination safely. Confirm the feasibility of the study.
