An Argumentative-Narrative Risk Assessment Model

In this paper, we propose an argumentative-narrative risk assessment model (ANRAM), which takes a formal logical theory of scenarios and arguments, and presents them in a structured, visual language that captures the basic concepts of risk assessment: risk factors, controls, evidence. We also present a set of specific risk scenarios from the domain of football fan violence, and show how ANRAM has been implemented in a collaborative decision-support system for the Dutch Police.
