Truth versus truthiness in clinical data

The appropriate analysis and interpretation of clinical data requires an understanding of real-world issues pertaining to the environment in which data is collected, the varying purposes for which it is used, and highly heterogeneous issues related to the patient and the clinical provider. This talk will provide an overview of many of these real-world issues, how they may impact the analytic findings and how you may incorporate knowledge of these issues to perform better analytics.
