CONSTRUCTING NEW-STYLE LOGISTICS HUB FOR SPECIAL ENGINEERING VESSELS IN SOUTH CHINA AREA UNDER THE MARINE POWER STRATEGY

The shipping market of special engineering vessel is becoming prosperous because of Chinese government's focus on marine economy and developing marine equipment manufacturing industry, coastal industry and overseas project contracting. A new-style logistics hub should be constructed for the numerous special engineering vessels in south China area, in which they can get the material supply, cargo information and technical support. The logistics hub should contain five business modules, including engineering material supply, fuel and living material supply, auxiliary machinery dispatching center, logistics information transferring and professional technical support, through which the port can upgrade the service chain and realize its diversification.
