A Fast-Study Model of Aircraft Magnetic Field Based on Two Flights Data

Induced and eddy-current parameters maintain constants after one-time study flight for a certain aircraft, but the permanent parameters will change as time passes by. This chapter proposed a fast-study model based on the small signal model. The simulation showed that the compensation effects by two models were very close to each other, but the fast model saved at least half of the original study time. So the study time can be reduced from about 4 to 8 min at one time. For the reason that fast-study model uses induced and eddy-current parameters that are calculated by small signal model before, it is important to make sure that the parameters are calculated by small signal model before they generate a good compensation effect.
