Self-supporting In_0.2Ga_0.8As (15 nm)/GaAs (35 nm) microtubes array was fabricated on GaAs (100) through rolling up from U-shaped strained mesas. The outer diameter of the microtube with extremely smooth thin wall is ~4.7 μm.
