EFFECTS OF THE RAW MATERIAL CHARACTERISTICS OF IRON CONCENTRATES ON BALLABILITY

摘要

The differences of raw material characteristic among six kind of iron concentrates and the influences on ballability were studied from the aspect of the size distribution, specific surface area and particles morphology. The results show that the specific surface area of iron concentrates has crucial influence on ballability, and the effective method of improving ballability for weak ballability iron concentrate has been found. It is of important guidance for Chinese steel mills to import and use iron concentrate from the whole world.
