The number of shipments of IoT devices has been increasing year by year, and is expected to continue increasing. The increase in the amount of data in network communication causes a shortage of network bandwidth and so on is a risk that normal communication cannot be performed. Further, even for the same device, the accuracy of data, frequency of acquisition, and the number of required devices differ depending on the purpose of data utilization. Therefore, it is necessary to design appropriate data granularity and to evaluate its communication. In this paper, we report the development of IoT testbed to evaluate the communication load of IoT devices and discuss the evaluation items, criteria, etc. using in the testbed.
