摘要

The purpose of this paper is to analyse heart rate variability of navigator at departure or arrival by wavelet transform and we tackle the difference between an actual ship and ships bridge simulator by utilizing a physiological index of heat rate variability which is SNS (Sympathetic Nervous System) and PNS (Parasympathetic Nervous System) is calculated by using a frequency component range. Because we think that the influence of mental burden of navigator is not clear yet in each case, in other words, kinds or strength of their mental burden is not clear and also a training of ship or navigational instrument handling by simulator is doing very well, naturally its effect needs to know the standpoint of human sensation. So we propose the method of finding an index of assessment of their mental burden by using a ratio of SNS to average of SNS among departure or arrival, the result shows a point of receiving the mental burden (stress) of navigator and this index was effective.
