Sam and the Chinese Room

摘要

The aim of this article is to describe the computer program SAM, introduced by Schank and Abelson, as well as its relationship with the Chinese room, presented by John Searle. Both programs, which belong to the field of Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence, are paths to approach the theory of knowledge and the ability of machines to tell a story.
