Recalling Pairs of Spatio-Temporal Sequences Using a Modified Bi-Directional Associative Memory

Despite the research activities in temporal signal processing using neural networks, to our best knowledge, there does not exist any scheme that is able to recall or generate pairs of temporal sequences of spatial patterns. Such a scheme may be useful, since, for example, a sequence pair may be employed to control and to coordinate the movements of a pair of robot arms. In this paper, we propose a simple method to generate pairs of spatial-temporal sequences using a modified bi-directional associative memory (BAM).
