The method involves capturing a photograph by using a digital camera, and recording an ambient sound by the camera at the time of capturing the photograph. An audio sequence within the recorded sound is selected, where the selected sequence has a preset characteristic. The audio sequence is associated to the photograph such that the audio sequence is reproduced when the photograph is displayed.
