摘要

A simple nonlinear model of postural sway along with a nonlinear feedback controller was used to detect stability boundaries and dynamical behavior about the upright equilibrium. The existences of bifurcations explain some of the postural behavior that has been seen in other works. A feasible balance strategy such as enhanced and fine-tuned feedback gains for balancing upright on a 1-DOF balance board was determined for a better understanding of the mechanisms behind balance improvements after balance board training.
