An optical design for a wide field corrector (WFC) turning the ESO New Technology Telescope (NTT) into a powerful fiber coupled spectroscopic wide filed, multi object facility is presented. The design utilizes a three square degree (optional 5 square degrees are possible) field of view (FoV) and is designed for a 1.5 arcsec diameter fibre aperture. One of the three lenses of the corrector system is shifted laterally to achieve atmospheric dispersion correction.
